So awesome. Eat here. This is some solid seafood. Crab bisque was excellent. Halibut was outstanding. We also ordered the braised chicken and crab cakes. All fantastic. It’s small and we went early (like blue plate hour early) and it was packed. Definitely the best meal in Bethany.

Fantastic food

Just discovered this gem after visiting the Bethany area for nearly a decade. It’s tucked away in a strip mall, but the quality of the food and service is exceptional. One of the best meals we’ve ever had in the area. Baked oysters and cioppino were out of this world. Short ribs and grilled cheese flatbread were also amazing. Everything is locally sourced and incredibly fresh. A must try!

We are here for the second time, as visitors on vacation. We will come back every year! The food is so thoughtfully and expertly prepared and served beautifully, it was like a dream!

Let me start off by saying, my fiancé and I are huge foodies, we love to go out to dinner and we have tried many many amazing restaurants. We live in West Chester, Pennsylvania but often frequent the great restaurants of Philadelphia and I have to say this was one of our best dining experiences we've ever had. We started off with the wild mushroom frisée salad as a shared app which blew us away. The mushrooms, pancetta and dressing were on point, and the fried goat cheese ball topped it off! He ordered the bacon and egg special (pork belly) which they may not have every time on the menu and I ordered the mahi special as well but both were absolutely delicious. Both entrées were so unique and had so much technique that made them truly stand out. The chef Christian was extremely admirable not only because of his young age but because of his confidence and skill he demanded in the kitchen. We luckily were able to observe this since we got two seats at the bar which I highly recommend not only for the view and amazing vibe, but for the authentic conversation with the bartender named Julianne. She helped us with our decisions every step of the way which I feel was a true testament to the great experience we had. Her martinis were impeccable and the personal touch she provided to each person at the bar was extremely memorable. I can't say enough great things about this restaurant and the experience that my fiancé and I had, all I can hope is to visit again soon!!

I've had 3 delicious dinners at Off the Hook in the past year, and each has been a special meal. The food is fresh and the recipes unique. Who would expect scallops over short rib stroganoff? The entrees are wonderful, but leave room for dessert. The chocolate Terrine is a work of art.
